Protein Waffles

I get asked a lot what my daily routine looks like. Between my nutrition and my workouts…

It has taken me a long time to figure out what works best for my body, what makes me happy, and what is maintainable. In 2014 I competed in a body building show and it created an extremely unhealthy perception of food and body image. It took me years to recover from shaming myself for eating things I like.

Now…I eat waffles for breakfast almost every morning and I have never felt better. My weight is lower than it has ever been (besides when I was dehydrated on show day) and I don’t feel like I have to say “no” to the things I love.

Daily Routine:

4am: coffee and protein waffles
5am: CrossFit workout
6am: greens and ionix
7am: Greek yogurt
9:30am: Lemon Isagenix Bar
Noon: Isalean Shake
2pm: a healthy snack
3:30pm: Isalean Shake
6pm: well-balanced dinner
7pm: occasionally a chocolate or yogurt

I workout Monday-Friday and rest on the weekends. Occasionally I will take a 3rd rest day during the week. Weekends my schedule isn’t consistent and I don’t make myself say no to something I want, I just make sure to enjoy it in moderation.

Ok….you’re probably wondering where the protein waffle recipe is. Here you go!
